NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 19, 2016) – The Nashville Business Coalition (NBC), a political action committee made up of business leaders from across greater Metro Nashville, announced today its support for George L. Rooker Jr. as Assessor of Property for Nashville and Davidson County in the March 1 County Primary Election.

Mr. Rooker’s proven record of technical expertise in addition to his investment in community outreach and education has brought national acclaim to the the city. His experience will be vital to the business community as we approach the next mass reappraisal of properties in 2017. Although NBC generally does not endorse administrative candidates, we feel that nature and timing of this race will have a profound impact on Nashville’s business community.
